Who we are

ANCI Partners (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a certified public accounting firm providing audit, tax, and financial advisory services to businesses in Lebanon, licensed to practice since 1982. Our partners are registered with the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA registrations #87 and #2327). This policy explains what information we collect through our website at ancipartners.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What personal information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a limited amount of technical information your browser sends automatically.

Information you provide. This website currently has no contact form. You reach us by telephone, WhatsApp or email, and the information we hold is simply whatever you choose to tell us in that message or call. If we add a form later, this section will describe exactly what it collects before it goes live.

We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers, or client financial records through this website, and we do not ask you to create an account. Please do not send confidential financial documents by email: we will tell you the secure way to send them once we are in touch.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to route it to the right partner and the right office, to prepare for a first conversation, to deliver the engagement you ask us for, and to meet our professional and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Enquiries

Emails, WhatsApp messages and calls reach the firm directly. We keep that correspondence for client-service and record-keeping purposes, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.

If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we may reply on that same number. Standard message and data rates may apply, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Cookies and your consent choices

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use one essential cookie to remember your privacy choice, and, only if you allow it, the analytics cookies described below.

When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose. Until you accept, the analytics service stores nothing on your device and cannot recognise you: it runs in a restricted mode (Google Consent Mode) in which no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are collected, and choosing “Reject” keeps it that way. In that restricted state Google still receives an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which cannot be linked to you or to your other visits. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named anci_consent for up to one year, or until you change it.

We use two categories. Essential is always on and covers the cookie that remembers this choice plus anci_source, which records how you first reached the site (for example a link in a search result or a campaign) so we know which of our own channels a consultation request came from. It holds no personal information and expires after 30 days. Analytics is optional and covers the service below. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page; if you withdraw it, we also delete the analytics cookies from your browser.

Analytics

With your consent we use two measurement services. We use them to improve the site, not to identify you, and we do not use advertising or remarketing pixels anywhere on this website.

Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, measures how the website is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and general location derived from your IP address. It sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_<id>).

Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, records how visitors interact with pages: clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, replayed as an anonymised session and aggregated into heatmaps. This helps us find layout and wording that confuses people. It sets the cookies _clck and _clsk. Clarity masks text content by default, and we do not use it to identify you. Please still avoid typing confidential information into the website forms: the secure way to send documents is the one we will give you directly.

If you decline analytics, or you have not yet made a choice, both services stay switched off. Google Analytics runs in its restricted mode, and Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all: its script is never requested, so it cannot set cookies, record a session, or contact Microsoft in any way. No _ga, _clck or _clsk cookies are written and nothing that identifies you or connects your visits is collected. If you accept and later change your mind, we switch both back off and delete those cookies from your browser.

Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to enquiries, and only as far as they need it to do that work. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. These currently are our website host (Vercel Inc.), together with Google and Microsoft for the analytics described below, where you have consented to it.

We may also disclose information where the law or a professional obligation requires it, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our clients, our team, or the public.

Professional confidentiality

Information you share with us as a client is subject to the professional confidentiality obligations that apply to certified public accountants and auditors, in addition to this policy. Where the two differ, the stricter obligation applies.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and engagement correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy the record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed public accountants and auditors in Lebanon, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner: see below.

How we protect your information

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole site, access controls that limit staff access to those who need it, and reputable infrastructure providers. Our website and email providers store data on servers outside Lebanon, including in the European Union and the United States. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these safeguards seriously.

Data breach procedures

If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities where the law requires us to.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep certain records for legal, tax, or professional reasons. To make a request, contact us using the details below, and we may need to verify your identity first.

Third-party links

Our website links to other services, including WhatsApp and the profiles of the professional bodies we belong to. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies separately.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and bottom of this page.
